In order to make our application work with Hibernate, we need to download and install
its stable release(a stable version) which contains all the important JARs required to develop application that work with Hibernate and also its documentation.
Let's see, how to set up download and install Hibernate.

Steps to download the Hibernate
In order to download the current Hibernate stable release, we need to visit the Hibernate website
which opens up as the picture below. We need to click on the More button in blue color, which is in the box with the heading Hibernate ORM, as pointed by the
picture below.
Clicking on the More button takes you to the next page, which tells us that the latest stable release(version) of Hibernate is 5.3.
We need to click on the green button which says Latest release(5.3). Please see the picture below for the reference.
Clicking on the green button with the heading that says Latest release(5.3), takes us to the next page which tells us about the compatibility
of this Hibernate version with the version of Java and JPA and more. We need to click on the blue button with says Download Zip archive, as shown in the picture below.
Next, we are taken to a new webpage which tells us that the compressed zip file containing the Hibernate and its files, will be downloaded within 5 seconds, as shown in the figure below.
Finally, as soon as the counter of 5 seconds is over, a new window will pop-up on your screen, asking you save the file by clicking the OK button or
Cancel, please click on the OK button and
the compressed Zip named hibernate-release-5.3.0.Final.zip will begin its download.
Installing the Hibernate
Once the Zip file(containing the Hibernate files) is downloaded, installation of Hibernate is as simple as uncompressing this zip file at your preferred place. We have unzipped this zip file in C: Drive and that's it! This concludes the successful
downloading and installing of Hibernate.
